Waterside Philosophy is the controller of the personal information described on this page. We use your information to respond to enquiries and review possible contributions because this is necessary for our legitimate interest in operating an independent editorial publication. If work is accepted, we may also keep correspondence and permission records needed to manage the publication and protect the rights of both the contributor and Waterside Philosophy.

We send occasional notes only with your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. We use limited technical information where necessary for our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure, and to meet any legal obligations that apply to us.

How long we keep it

General enquiries and unsuccessful contribution submissions are normally removed within 24 months. Details used for occasional notes are kept until you unsubscribe. Records connected with accepted or published work may be kept for as long as they are needed to evidence permission, attribution and publication history. Security records are kept only for the period reasonably required by our hosting provider or by law.
